Aramis Garcia goes off: m.giants.mlb.com

The announcer sounds a little like Uecker in Major League if you know what I mean. Good to see Garcia picking up the pace a bit, the #14 ranked Giants prospect according to MLB.com. A sturdy frame and decent hitting skills would make up for the loss of Hector Sanchez, however ETA for Garcia is listed as 2017 and  given he's in Low-A, that sounds about right.
Garcia continues torrid stretch for GreenJackets
Giants' No. 14 prospect cracks 2 homers and drives in 4 runs, has gone 14-for-26 in his past 6 games

Though they had an All-Star behind the plate in Buster Posey and a top catching prospect in Andrew Susac, the Giants couldn't resist taking Garcia in the second round last June. The 2014 Conference USA player of the year, he signed for $1.1 million.
A lackluster pro debut doesn't change the fact that Garcia is an offensive-minded backstop. He has a mature approach at the plate, using a short stroke and the entire field. He usually exhibits sound plate discipline and could develop into a hitter with solid batting averages and on-base percentages to go with double-digit home run power.
Garcia needs defensive polish -- so did Posey and Susac when they arrived from college -- but has the tools and the work ethic to remain behind the plate. He has average arm strength and will have to refine his footwork, receiving and blocking skills.
