Given that the Giants seem to place a lot of stock in Cape Cod League performances, this list may provide an early look into the Giants 2016 draft mindset.

Biggio, son of Hall-of-Famer Craig Biggio, is challenging for the batting crown, while showing amazing plate discipline. His 17 walks lead the league, and while he hasn’t shown much pop, he’s still capable of driving in some runs. With a 1-for-4 performance on July 4th, he’s now reached base 13 consecutive games.
Cavan Biggio would not be a bad prospect, he combines the advanced plate discipline with some good old-fashioned productivity. Nice!!
Arizona 3B Bobby Dalbec would be another highly regarded prospect. He is not likely to be there for the Giants.
Some others whose performance have caught my eye, or really my statistical filter, which looks at BB/K ratio, preferably greater than 1.0 combined with a RC (runs created) score. So our boys are not just standing at the plate looking pretty. Or just looking at all, they mash when they get their pitch.
We're getting a good hitting approach (process) plus productivity (results).
Generally speaking, the first leads to the second.

Jake Fraley OF LSU 6-0, 195 small sample but hitting .344
Cole Billingsley OF South Alabama 5-11, 185 hitting .289
Michael Paez SS Coastal Carolina 5-9, 170 hitting .318
Nick Solak 2B Louisville 5-10, 180 hitting .341
Charlie Warren OF Rice 6-2, 185 hitting .304
Ryan Boldt OF Nebraska 6-2, 210 hitting .270
I would focus on the bigger guys early like Biggio, Fraley, Warren and Boldt and then the sub 6-0 guys secondarily like Edman, Paez, Solak and Billingsley maybe around the 5th -10th round range.
The league average in the Cape Cod League is somewhere between .200 and .225 and many good college hitters go there and struggle to hit for a high average with wood. These guys who are producing against top of the line pitching every night give an early glimpse into their ability to transition from college ball to pro ball.
