US Presidential Election 2016 - US Politics Betting Odds - Paddy Power

Place your bets!!! It looks like the gamblers see its as a fait accompli for Hillary on the Dems side and Bush running away from the Repubs field. Clinton v. Bush? Where have we heard that before?

I laugh when I hear people say that this is an accurate early gauge of who is likely to emerge as a front-runner or GASP!! eventually win and takeover the White House and eventually the country. The logic goes something along the line of "Well, these are people who are putting their money where their mouth is". The problem is, as we all know only too well, is this is not the money flow that decides elections at this level. It's campaign contributions from rich donors and/or corporations, plain and simple.

We have to be able to do better than to choose from the same livestock ( the Bush and Clinton clans ) that got us into this mess, don't you think?

My campaign slogan for 2016 is going to be "It's as easy as A-B-C. Anybody but Bush or Clinton".
