Brandon Belt's Epic 21 Pitch AB
This is just hunkering down and battling with two strikes to the extreme. Belt always seems to take AB's to a 3-2 count and he did here as well.
Kudos to the pitcher for throwing that many strikes in a row and eventually winning the battle of the AB.
Belt would win the war with a HR later (from seeing so many pitches earlier?) and the Giants held on to win 4-3, so this battle could have been the difference in the ball game. If nothing else, Belt is the King of Little Things. Therefore at times his value is under-estimated or forgotten by fans, myself included.
