The New York Post is reporting that the Mets and Twins have agreed to a deal for left handed Cy Young Award winner Johann Santana. The Twins would receive prospects Carlos Gomez, Deolis Guerra, Kevin Mulvey and Phil Humber.
Earlier, the Twins had insisted the Mets agree to include All-Star SS Jose Reyes in any deal for Santana.
It look like the Mets GM Omar Minaya has just won the biggest fish in the market this off season without surrendering any major pieces from his roster--if this trade goes through as reported.
