Former Miami booster tells Yahoo! he gave benefits - Yahoo! News

CESSPOOL SWIMMING - A COLLEGE FOOTBALL TRADITION

Why is this a surprise? Seriously, why is this a surprise?

We've had years of people apologizing for USC and Reggie Bush, when I was saying he would take a pay cut once he went pro. Finally, years later, the NCAA strips them of victories, titles and trophies.

The folks (apologists for college football) that vote for the Heisman Trophy must be among the deaf, dumb and blind kids as well, because -- in conjunction with the media apologists -- they hand a trophy to (S)Cam Newtom, in spite of the evidence of what goes on down in Auburn and the SEC.

Almost anybody with an IQ above room temperature has eyes, ears and a brain and can see what is going on across the landscape. It's long past time for some serious action.

College football is a cesspool. Period.

You might want to think about shutting it down until you can get this corruption under control.

Former Miami booster tells Yahoo! he gave benefits - Yahoo! News:

'Hell yeah, I recruited a lot of kids for Miami,' Shapiro told Yahoo! Sports. 'With access to the clubs, access to the strip joints. My house. My boat. We're talking about high school football players. Not anybody can just get into the clubs or strip joints. Who is going to pay for it and make it happen? That was me.'
