BYE, BYE BABY: Terrell Owens Crying

Go cry in your popcorn bee-yatch, and take Troy Aikman with you. It took Troy 59 Minutes and 51 seconds of game time to realize that the Cowboys were not the best team on the field yesterday. His fawning over his ex-team was sickening.

All the hype over T.O. coming back from his ankle injury and not a mention of Plaxico Burress who has played on a bum ankle virtually ALL SEASON!!

I know everyone was looking forward to a match up between Brett Favre and his little puppy dog Tony Romo in the Championship Game, but someone forgot to tell the Giants.

I don't blame Tony Romo for the Mexico excursion. If it was me, I'd have called in sick to work for as many sick days that were at my disposal, given the circumstances. But maybe the old fight managers had it right, he had the legs taken right out from under him. You know, all that "sight-seeing" and all, the long walks on the beach, etc.

Hope she was worth it, Tony. Next time, put the team first. It's not like you've won a playoff game or anything. Who do you think you are, Tom Brady? Get the rings first, then you get the girl. And the girls are higher quality once you get the rings. Lesson learned.

MEMORIES...LIKE THE CORNERS OF MY MIND...MISTY WATER COLORED MEMORIES..

It looks like the light has finally gone on in Eli Manning's head. It's been a long time since he's thrown a horribly bad ball. No Shock-to-me, but if my memory serves me right, it was around the time that Jeremy Shockey went down and out of the lineup. Those two simply did not appear to be on the same page and it amazed me that so many pass attempts were directed his way while he played. He's long past being a serious threat or a match-up problem, he looks heavy-legged and slow. Kevin Boss appears more productive in the pass game at this point, so hopefully Jeremy has a Plaxico-like epiphany of maturity.

I really admire Plaxico's grit this season. He's proven to be a workhorse and a leader. After some of the things that went on around and about him in past years, it's good to see that he's turned things around. I read an article where he was quoted as saying he took some of the negative criticisms directed his way and realized that some of the things said may have in fact been true. Instead of pouting or reacting defensively or negatively, he made positive changes. That's displaying maturity and it shows in the leadership he has displayed this year. Way to go Plax!!

I still miss (heart) Tiki, but more importantly the Giants were blessed with a plethora of RB's recently and they apparently don't miss (or heart) Tiki. Brandon Jacobs (also playing hurt outside the media spotlight), Derrick Ward and Ahmad Bradshaw apparently were good enough to crowd out the Packers Ryan Grant, who was good enough to rush for 200-yards in the playoffs. I hope the coaches knew what they were doing when they released him. Maybe the fumbles?? I don't know, didn't Coughlin cure Tiki of fumbleitis?

All right, that's my last shot at Coach Coughlin, who appears to have had an epiphany of his own in management-player relations. The guys appear to be playing well for him. Now they just need to figure out how to win at home. Luckily, that's an issue for next year. No more home games this year. Way to go Coughlin!!!

All right, that's enough mea-culpas from me for now. Normally, I'm able to say I was wrong about as well as Arthur Fonzarelli, but in these cases, it's way too obvious. GO BLUE!!!!
