Down on the Farm Report: Sacramento River Cats

Image result for sacramento river cats

OK, last but not least on the tour. What do we have here?

Looks like this Hunter Pence can hit, maybe we can use him? This McGehee guy too. And Susac. Names sound kind of familiar. Hey wait a minute, what kind of sick game are we playing here? Sending big-leaguers down to beat up on minor leaguers? Your better than that Giants!!

Jarret Parker @ .895 OPS, maybe time to start getting some return on that World Series ring you bought for him. Adam Duvall @ .833 OPS just screams AAAA. I can't look at the hitting stats in this organization anymore it's going to make my head explode.

Ah, pitching!!!  Mike Broadway?? Maybe we want to see if he can act the part of a closer??

HA-HA-HA, I'll be here all week folks.

Nice, Chris Stratton pitching better here than the lower levels. Is somebody bored? Let's throw this guy in the deep end come September and see if he swims. What? We might still be in contention?

Who's the funny guy now? HA-HA-HA.

Have you seen the offense lately? We can't even win when our ace holds opponents to three runs in two games. You should win more than half of those games, but we went 0-2.

No lie, He was in the middle of tossing a perfecto / no-hitter and I said, "Shit the best we can do is tie here". Do we even have ties in baseball? No, you have to go to Japan for that, so we're screwed. So what's the game plane fellas? Let's get Mike Leake or Dillon Gee, maybe those guys can hit. Or we can keep trying to play for ties or get a major mid-season rule change or something.

Oh, and Matt Cain sucks in AAA, demote his ass to AA where he has a chance. And Peavy too.

Clearly, I could never be a big-league executive, even though there may soon be openings with the Cardinals and the Phillies. Can you imagine me with the Phillies? Talk about "some heads are going to roll" OMG, there'd be body parts flying all over the place if I had to manage that organization.
