Good!! I liked this guy, he's a very inspirational player, very dedicated. His nickname is "Kamikazi". I'm not certain if that is an indication of his dedication level or just reinforcing an ugly stereotype, but quite frankly I don't care. That's a distinction without a difference as far as I'm concerned.

Report: Giants sign Japanese infielder to minor-league deal - Yahoo! Sports:
The San Francisco Giants have signed Japanese second baseman Kensuke Tanaka to a minor-league contract, which is expected to include an invitation to spring training, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Tanaka, 31, is expected to be in the running to make the Giants' roster as a utility infielder after hitting .300 with three home runs and 13 stolen bases last season for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters of Japan's Pacific League.

Reports ( via YouTube ) are that he will not tolerate players on the team who either have no marbles or play as if they have no marbles. That is also a good thing, whichever case is true. Because as everybody knows...
A fine addition. No negatives here as far as I can see.
Also, Giants should win from a payroll standpoint due to the fact that the Yen is even a bigger POS currency than the US Dollar, if that's even possible. It is reported that Tanaka has agreed to be paid in some combination of platinum coins, wooden nickels or Japanese Yen so this is a very payroll friendly deal indeed.
