Giants are sending this guy and seven others to the Arizona Fall League. Gloor is the name that stands out as he does not appear on as many prospect lists as some of the others.
Giants look to ring out as much value as possible from the 2009 draft. That was the Zach Wheeler, Tommy Joseph, Chris Dominguez draft.
Dominguez is also on his way to Arizona along with Joe Panik (2B/SS) , Gary Brown (CF) , Ricky Oropesa (1B) , Jacob Dunnington (RHP) , Heath Hembree (RHP) and Dan Runzler (LHP).
If half of these guys pan out and give the Giants value they should contend for the division on a regular basis for the next decade. Kudos to the scouting and farm system for turning an organizational weakness into one of strength.
