I think I'd rather have him on my side, even if it is with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. It has to be a little discomforting to fall from the acknowledged #1 starter, to perhaps #5 at this point, in such a short period of time.
Regardless of how the Giants season ends, they will look significantly different next season.
